Proud to Support the Pride in Brewing Scholarship Fund
Each June BSG recognizes and celebrates the LGBTQ+ community’s contributions to craft beer. For the third consecutive year, we have made a donation to the Pride in Brewing Scholarship.
Established in 2018 by Dabbler & Friends, the nonprofit arm of our Twin Cities friends at Beer Dabbler, the Pride in Brewing Scholarship helps members of the LGBTQ+ community break into the brewing industry by providing:
- One full-ride scholarship for the Siebel Institute WBA Concise Course in Brewing Technology, on campus in Chicago, Illinois
- $1,500 travel stipend
In addition to this year’s financial contributions, BSG has teamed up with past scholarship recipients to develop several collaborative recipes to be brewed at their respective breweries. These beers highlight ingredients from Rahr Malting Co., Gambrinus Malting, and our friends at HVG, all donated by BSG. They will be sold throughout the month of June and beyond to raise additional funds for the Pride in Brewing scholarship.
