German Amarillo® Enriched Hop Pellets
Enriched hop pellets. Grown and processed in Germany from the same cultivar as the Amarillo® found in US fields.
Origin: Washington, USA. Found growing wild in 1998 by Virgil Gamache Farms of Toppenish, WA. Grown and processed in Germany from the same cultivar as the Amarillo® found in US fields.
Brewing Application: Enriched Hop Pellets can be used anywhere T-90 pellets would be incorporated, but are ideal for aroma, whirlpool and dry hop additions. Due to the higher concentration of acids and oils in enriched pellets, hop charges in many recipes can be reduced by approximately 50% vs. T-90 pellets or whole hop cones. We recommend conducting trials to determine the optimal usage rate for your formulation.
Sensory: Diverse aromas depending on picking time. Early harvest brings aromas of lemon and candy. Mid-harvest brings aromas of grapefruit, floral, and tropical. Late harvest brings aromas of onion/garlic and dank.
