B&D Farms Wins Cascade Cup
Well-deserved congratulations to BSG Hops’ grower B&D Farms of St. Paul, Oregon on their first-place finish in the Cascade Cup!
The Cascade Cup is an annual award presented by the Hop Quality Group to the top producer of Cascade hops. The winner is determined by blind judging based on appearance, aroma, and analysis. B&D Farms won their award in January during the 63rdannual American Hop Convention.
Brothers Ben and Dave Smith founded B&D Farms in 1984 in the heart of the Willamette Valley. Beginning with 15 acres of hops, they have steadily grown over several decades to expand their operation to 1000 acres.
BSG Hops sources hops directly from select farms like B&D from around the world, working closely with our growers throughout the year to ensure that we can offer our customers the best-quality hops season after season.
