Acetic Acid Assay Kit (AK; rapid manual format)

Measure acetic acid (volatile acidity) rapidly and reliably using the Acetic Acid (AK Rapid Manual Format) Assay Kit. This kit uses an improved method based on the reaction of acetic acid with acetate kinase (reaction time: 4 min). The assay is simple to perform, requiring only two absorbance readings, and involves no complicated calculations as a true end-point is measured. Each kit contains reagents for 72 tests using a standard manual spectrophotometer, 144 tests using the MegaQuant™ Wave, or 720 tests using a microplate reader. All reagents are stable for >2 years.
